→ 28 Nov 2011 Moar updates on my lyfe:
I know my Tumblr presence has dramatically decreased lately, so here’s a quick update on what’s going on with me.
As you can see above, my blonde hair grew back, but it probably hadn’t been back long enough for the Tumblrverse to notice anyway. Still, none of that matters because Saul dyed my hair for me and I’m back to red. It was an interesting experience having my nub boyfriend dye my hair, but nonetheless, he rules.
I just got a new job working at WonderHowTo.com as a community leader and blogger. It’s preetty damn cool and I’m very excited about this.
School is school and there’s nothing too thrilling going on there. I’m actually starting to really dislike it, but I’m almost certain I’m just distraught with this whole “I’m stuck at community college”, general education crap.
I haven’t been photoblogging lately, which is quite sad, but I’m hoping to get something going one of these days, and I will document and post it for anyone who may be interested in viewing it here.
But to sum it up, life is fantastic.
I hope you are all doing well too.

→ 08 Dec 2010 H8 that thing called “school” in which we must excel at subjects we’re naturally rubbish at & have no interest in, only so that we may obtain something called a “degree” so that we can get “jobs” and contribute to society & live out our little ordinary lives until we rot away & die.

→ 21 Nov 2010 "I hated school. I hated school & I didn’t realize why. I thought I was…I was, I thought there was something wrong with me for hating school, for not being able to deal with school. At the time it was ingrained in me that school was: if you’re not successful in school you’re not going to be successful in life. & the hierarchy with the subjects at school, like the arts are given no credence. & if they are, it’s false credence. So, I look back on it & I’m angry. I’m angry about it because, you know, there might be a brilliant ballerina somewhere in school who’s being forced to do maths, & she sees it difficult. But if she’s just allowed to express whatever gifts she has to offer, then she would be happy. & then she could make hundreds of thousands of other people joyous for a couple of hours per night." — Andrew Garfield
